Web Class Checklist

Online instructor-led web-classes are different than the traditional in-person classroom. The class is optimized to accommodate today’s busy schedules and tight deadlines. I invite you to participate with Intentional focus and reciprocation in order to make this experience more beneficial and effective. I offer you two guidelines to use for optimizing your online learning experience.

Web Class Audio requirements All web classes support audio over a regular phone line or voice over IP (VOIP). Because this is not a listen-only Webinar, but it is a participation web class, please make sure you have your PC headset (headset with microphone), or use a regular phone to connect to the online class audio.

The optimal setup for any participant is to have two separate computers or a single computer with two monitors or a wide enough single monitor, to accommodate both the course leader’s shared desktop, and a separate display space for Enterprise Architect. This allows for watching the instruction and working with EA at the same time, side by side, without switching window focus back and forth.
